Let AI greet visitors on your store page

“Online Consultation” on your store page answers from the material you maintain in the “AI Knowledge Base”. This guide covers what it answers from, how to prepare it, and how to test it.

Click to play — with narration

A visitor who opens your store page can ask a question straight away under “Online Consultation”. The AI answers, but only from four kinds of source — knowledge entries, FAQs, published articles and storefront page sections. For anything not in your material, it says it does not know and asks the visitor to leave their contact details, rather than making something up on your behalf.

  1. Open the “AI Knowledge Base” page under “AI Reception” in the sidebar and enter your longer material — what you cover, how you charge, your process, common concerns — as knowledge entries.
  2. FAQs have moved to the “Storefront Page” page under “My Storefront” (the FAQ section): write the questions visitors ask most as question-and-answer pairs. Drag a whole row to reorder them, and the ones near the top go into the AI script first. Each row has a “Show on storefront page” switch on the right; turn it off and visitors do not see that one on your store page, but the AI still uses it when answering — that is how you make an entry AI-only.For how to write them, see “Add an FAQ for your AI”.
  3. The opening line is on the “AI Front Desk” page: write the first thing your AI says, and put in what you most want to be asked. Leave it blank and the platform's default greeting is used.
  4. In the “Try It Out” card on the same page, ask a few questions the way a visitor would and check the answers. Ask something that is not in your material, and confirm it honestly says it does not know.
  5. Click “Preview Storefront” in the top bar to open your store page, and run through it again in the “Online Consultation” card in the right column — that is exactly what visitors see.
  6. After chatting, a visitor clicks “Call”, “WeChat” or “Book”, and the contact details they leave land in “Leads & Inquiries” — handle them as in “Follow up on a lead, all the way to a deal”.

Answer quality comes entirely from your material: the more specific your knowledge entries and the closer your FAQs are to real questions, the more the AI sounds like you. Change your material and there is nothing to turn on again — the next conversation uses it.
