Upload your professional headshot and store header image
Your headshot is the face visitors get to know; the header image is the full-width banner at the top of your store page. They now live on two different pages, each with its own requirements.
The professional headshot and the store header image now live on two different pages: the headshot in the “Professional Profile” section of Store Profile, the header image in the “Appearance” section of Storefront Page.
- Professional headshot — the face visitors see on your store page and in chat. Open the Store Profile page and switch to the “Professional Profile” tab. Face-forward, business attire and a clean background work best. JPG / PNG / WebP, under 2MB, shortest side at least 512px.It is worth 15 points, and the card marks it “Top priority”.
- Header image — the full-width banner at the top of your store page. Go to “Storefront Page” and switch to the “Appearance” section. You can upload a set (up to 8): the first one is the first-screen banner, and with several, visitors can flip through them and they rotate on their own. Each image is centered at its original ratio, with the cover background you pick filling the rest. Also JPG / PNG, shortest side at least 512px, and up to 5MB.If you do not want this block at all, turn off the “Show header banner” switch: nothing appears at the top of your store page, the images you uploaded are kept, and turning it back on brings them back.
- When you are done, use “Preview Storefront” in the top bar to open the public page and check it looks the way you want.
The header image is never cropped: on a narrow screen it scales down at its original ratio and sits centered, with the cover background you picked filling the sides. Dark images look best on “Ink”.
